Universal Design for Learning (UDL) is emerging as an educational approach aiming to maximise student learning. However, its implementation is not without barriers, particularly in teacher training and the gap between theory and application of its principles. The aim of this study was to create and validate a scale to assess teachers' perceptions of the SAD and its level of implementation in the classroom. The instrument was subjected to expert judgment to define its initial structure. The sample consisted of 286 practicing teachers. An exploratory factor analysis (EFA) followed by a confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) was carried out to assess the scale's psychometric properties. The EFA revealed a two-dimensional factor structure that explained 55.9% of the total variance. The results of the CFA confirmed this structure by obtaining satisfactory goodness of fit indices (SRMR = 0.0528; RMSEA = 0.0537; CFI = 0.969 and TLI = 0.962; GFI = 0.82). The ADIPA scale is a valid and reliable instrument for measuring teachers' perceptions of UDL and its implementation, providing a tool for improving teacher training and practice.
