Code of Ethics
The Journal of Inclusive Education (REI) adheres to the Guidelines for Journal Editors and other ethical provisions of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), as well as the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the European Parliament and of the Council of the European Union for the handling of personal data in databases.
Important Notes
Requirements for Authors:
All articles submitted to the Journal of Inclusive Education for the evaluation process and, where applicable, publication, must have been reviewed in accordance with the journal's established policies.
Each work submitted to the Journal of Inclusive Education must be original. A translation from another language is not considered original.
In this regard, a document will be issued expressly stating that the work has not been previously published, nor is it under evaluation or review by another journal or scientific publication.
Regarding reviewers:
The Journal of Inclusive Education invites individuals with a research track record in the journal's field of knowledge to serve as peer reviewers.
Each reviewer must provide their assessment as clearly and rigorously as possible so that the Editorial Committee can make a decision regarding the acceptance or rejection of a manuscript.
The documents sent to the reviewers are confidential, and therefore, their assessment will be limited to evaluative purposes.
Plagiarism
Plagiarism in articles (intentional or unintentional) will be penalized, resulting in a four-year ban for those who commit it.
We understand plagiarism to occur when fragments of other people's work are included or used in the work without proper attribution (long or short).
A work will also be considered "unoriginal" and therefore rejected when, even with proper citation of sources, the percentage of direct quotations exceeds 40% of the total work.
Graphic objects are included without attribution.
